Ogres, Demons, and Dragons

This week, we feature early sketches of some of the creatures that make appearances in Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker. Like many action/adventure games, a good chunk of time is spent engaged in battle with your enemies. These sketches will give you a first look at some of the creatures that Cassandra might brandish a sword at in the film. For those of you who have dealt some damage to these baddies in the Dragon Age games, you might recognize an ugly mug, or two.

Ogre – Bust

This sketch is a first look at the creatures of the darkspawn in Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker. This is definitely not the most handsome face you’ll see in the movie.

Ogre – Full Body

A full body sketch of a battle-ready ogre. Will Cassandra be able to single-handedly take down one of these bad boys?

Golem – Head

A first look at a magical golem from Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker. There’s no question that these guys are tough. The real question is who’s controlling them.

Pride Demon

These extremely powerful blood magic demons also make an appearance in the film and can make formidable foes for Templars, Seekers, and mages alike.

Dragon – Head

Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker wouldn’t be complete without the appearance of dragons. It’s a good thing Cassandra is from the dragon hunting clan of Nevarra.

High Dragon

This sketch depicts a fully matured adult female dragon. What role the high dragon may play is yet to be seen.
